In addition to the services listed above, our knowledgeable team has expertise in providing personal care for seniors who are experiencing memory loss and confusion due to Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia.
When my dad was in home hospice and unable to communicate, my mom, sisters, and I all wanted something different. Julie spent a significant amount of time listening to each of us before making suggestions. We thought we would need an RN around the clock, but she worked within our budget and created a plan that we were all happy with. She sent us professionals who took loving care of my dad in his last weeks and helped the rest of the family through the process. We will be forever grateful!
Julie Wozniak accompanied a stubborn and determined man on an ill-advised trip. She knew how to be in the right place at the right time and step back when she wasn’t needed. After the trip, she was asked to stay on. It was a long and difficult illness and he was a challenging patient. Julie always had an abundance of patience. She handled difficult and sometimes critical situations calmly and with complete professionalism and discretion.
I feel that Julie sees me not so much as a patient, but as an actual human being. She is sooooo nice!!! I never feel like a client with her. She feels more like a caring niece or granddaughter to me - so attentive and patient. It’s so refreshing to have a nurse who actually makes me feel like I matter. When I’m having a bad day, she always finds a way to make me feel better. I am so grateful for her every day!
I had worked with Julie previously and was grateful to have Vitale Nursing help us with another family member who needed care. As their health declined, Julie graciously agreed to support us with 24-hour care. Her in-home caregivers are all wonderful. Julie is mindful of making good matches between the patient and caregiver. Julie continues to be hands-on with doctors’ visits, emergency room visits, and hospital stays. She’s always one step ahead and attentive to details. I am grateful that I have not had to go through a string of agencies searching for quality care. Quite simply, I could not have managed any of this without Vitale Nursing. They have become to us like a member of the family.
