Our private duty LVNs and RNs are highly trained and certified to perform the following advanced medical tasks:
- Patient and family evaluation and assessment
- Develop care plans with patient and physicians
- Provide symptom and disease management
- Establish a program to teach self maintenance
- Provide frontline in-home support for patient and family
- Oversee care for patients who can not self direct
Administer treatments and medications including:
- Scheduling and follow up appointments
- Blood sugar testing
- Physical and occupational therapy appointments
- Home infusion therapy
- Blood draws and injections
- Medication set up, administration, and oversight
- Ostomy and urinary catheter maintenance
- Monitor and assess vital signs
- Wound care
- Injectable and Non-injectable medication administration
- Insulin syringe filling
- Oral suctioning and tube feeding
